Falcon Dock
Nest-Fly's universal Drone nest: Your future of autonomous flights.
Protected, charged, and ready for the next mission
The Falcon Dock combines landing, positioning, automatic charging, protection, and climate control in one complete docking solution. It is designed for professional drone platforms that need to operate reliably and repeatedly from a fixed location.
Deploying a professional drone autonomously requires more than simply a place to land. Charging, protection, climate control, and dock control must work together reliably within a single system.
The Falcon Dock combines these functions in one integrated docking solution. This allows complete docking infrastructure to be added to a professional drone platform without having to develop all of these components as a separate technical product line.
After landing, the integrated centering system moves the drone into the correct position on the Charging Pad. This means the drone does not need to land with centimetre-level precision in order to connect to the charging system.
Once the NF-Power Legs establish proper contact with the Charging Pad, the charging process can begin automatically. This makes landing, positioning, and charging part of one continuous docking cycle.
After landing, the drone is safely stored beneath the protective cover of the Falcon Dock. The enclosure protects the drone against weather conditions, theft, and vandalism, providing a secure base between missions.
Climate Control allows the conditions inside the dock to be actively regulated. In addition, the battery can be cooled after landing, ensuring that the drone is prepared for its next deployment under suitable conditions. With an opening time of four seconds, the drone can quickly become operational again.
The integrated Charging Pad enables automatic contact charging via the NF-Power Legs. The contact cleaning system helps prevent oxidation of the contact points, supporting a reliable and efficient charging connection between the drone and the docking station.
Weather Station
The Falcon Dock can optionally be equipped with a weather station. A camera, temperature monitoring, and wind sensors provide real-time information about the conditions surrounding the docking station. This data can be used to determine whether conditions are suitable for the next drone flight.
